Award-winning photographer Buckner F. Melton, Jr. has been behind the camera for more than thirty years. Experienced in a variety of camera formats, darkroom skills, and genres, he attempts to discover the art inherent in nature, everyday life, and special moments, portraying them in the fleeting impressions we know as photographs. Weddings, cosplay, dance, couples, children and babies, casual and studio portraits, glamour, and fashion are just some of the fields in which he has worked.
A professional educator, Melton also teaches photography to beginning and nonprofessional students in middle Georgia, combining theory with a “learn by doing” approach.
